Expert witness work
The main body of Dr Martin’s medico legal work has been in negligence in the cosmetic medicine/laser sectors and general practice. He has been involved in a wide range of cases within these fields over the past 14 years, through which considerable experience in conflict resolution has been gained. Formal training as a mediator has recently been achieved.
Holds experience of cross examination before the GMC as the Defence expert as well vast experience of written reports, written under tight deadlines. All reports are produced in the format suggested by the academy of experts and a clinical negligence case is usually turned around in a month although this is flexible.
